Beautiful figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, Tibet 16th century
This is a small but excellent depiction of the Buddha sitting on a double lotos base. All proportions of the figure are in perfect harmony and fully represent the Tibetan bronze casting style of the 15th and 16th century. The Buddha has not only got a wonderful smile, warm and serene facial expression, but it is also a very charming small exemplar of buddhist bronze sculptures of that time.

Rosewood opium bed with elaborate mother of pearl inlay
This particular opium bed was exhibited and highlighted at german anitque fair “Nostalga 80″ in 1980. At that time, a picture of it was featured in “Bild Zeitung”, one of Germany´s largest newspapers.
Nine years later, the collection of fine antique rosewood furniture form Mr. and Mrs. Clement was put on sale for benefit of UNICEF UK in 1989 at the German auction house August Bödiger in Bonn, Germany.
Today, this exceptionally fine piece of Chinese furniture is still located in South Germany and offered for sale again. It is covered extensively with an elaborate mother of pearl inlay decor, depicting floral patterns and a palace battle scene on the central back panel. The bed itself is a representative example of late Qing Dynasty superior craftsmanship.
