Collection of Oceanica – Burma, Java, New Guinea

After travelling and collecting objects af art and cultural relics from the Southeastasian region for more than fourty years, the private collectors from Cologne, Germany, are now planing to pass on some of their objects. The collection comprises many thematic fields, especially Wayang culture figures, masks, and ritual objects.

Hibachis from private collection

Five Hibachis with motives of landscapes, pine trees, cherry blossoms, chrysanthemum and old japanese themes. Hibachis were used, and are still used today, as fire bowls for cooking of water in traditional tea ceremony. These pieces are in private collection and the owners are looking for people, who love and appreciate them as much as they do. All are in very good condition. Asking prices range from 100 to 500 Euro.
